Nara Park



Nara Park (“ή—ΗŒφ‰€:Nara-koen) is a city park in Nara City, which is a scenic spot of the country. It opened in 1880.


Inside the area commonly referred to as Nara Park, there are Todaiji Temple, Kasuga Taisha Shrine, Kohfukuji Temple and Nara National Museum.


There are many World Heritage sites and national treasures, and there are more than 1000 deer, making it a popular spot for sightseeing in Nara.


For this reason, not only Japanese tourists but also many foreign tourists are coming.


It is also famous as a cherry blossom spot.
