Toujiin Temple (“™Ž‰@:Toujiin) is a family temple of Shogun "Ashikaga clan" from Ashikaga shogunate.
A family temple is a temple that holds ancestral spirit tablets.
On Reiko-den, the successive Shogun wooden statue is enshrined.
It is famous for its beautiful style of garden that features a path around a pond, and it is a place where guests can see autumn leaves at the earliest time in Kyoto.
Guests can see the beautiful Camellia japonica from about the middle of February.
