Kyoto Tower (‹ž“sƒ^ƒ[) is the tallest "iron frameless architecture" tower in the world.
The Kyoto Tower, which rises in front of JR Kyoto Station, is a landmark of Kyoto and is also the tallest building in Kyoto.
It is built on top of a building and has a candle-like shape.
The tower building was completed in 1964, and the observation room opened on December 28. It is the same year as the opening of the Tokaido Shinkansen and the Tokyo Olympics.

The tower is 131 meters high, and the observation room 100 meters above the ground gives a panoramic view of Kyoto city.

There is also a sky lounge on the third floor of the observation room, 45 meters above the ground, which serves as a cafe and bar.


The tower building is a tourist spot popular with tourists, including hotels, public baths, restaurants and souvenir shops.
