Introduction

Yokohama Chinatown (l؊X:Yokohama Chuka-gai) is Japan's largest Chinesetown.
A popular tourist spot in Yokohama, there are over 600 stores. Among them, there are more than 300 restaurants and other Chinese goods shops. And there are a lot of famous Chinese food restaurants.

 

The building representing Chinatown is a luxurious Chinese-style gate.
A total of 10 gates are installed.

 

In early February, the Chinese New Year, Chinatown's largest event, the Shunsetsu Festival, will take place. In Shunsetsu, "lion dance", "dragon dance", "parade of glamorous emperor costumes" and various events will be held.
Shunsetsu is a representative event for sightseeing in Yokohama and is also useful for introducing Chinese traditional culture.
The ChuShu Festival, which takes place from the end of September to the beginning of October, sells various "mooncakes" at Chinese confectionery stores.

 

In Yokohama Chinatown, you can enjoy not only Chinese restaurants but also trick art etc. "Yokohama Daisekai", Chinatown's largest shopping center "Yokohama hakuran-kan", the power spot "Kantei-byo" that has won the hero of the Three Kingdoms, There are lots of fun spots, such as spot of fulfillment in love "Maso-byo".

- Get off at Ishikawacho Station on JR Keihin Tohoku Negishi Line and walk 5 minutes
