Introduction

Tetsujin 28-go (“Sl28†:Gigantor) monument is a huge monument with a height of 15.6m, and was created in the Nagata area, which was severely damaged by the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake.

Tetsujin 28-go is a giant robot that appears in the work "Tetsujin 28-go (1956)" by Kobe-born manga artist Mitsuteru Yokoyama.

The shopping streets in the Nagata area gathered, and this monument was created to restore the bustle before the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake.

This Tetsujin 28-go monument was completed in 2009 as a symbol of earthquake reconstruction and with the hope that many people will come to Nagata.
