Kobe City Museum



The Kobe City Museum(_ˎs:Kobe shiritsu hakubutsukan) was opened in 1982 with the integration of the Kobe City Namban Art Museum and the Kobe City Archaeological Museum.
Located in The Former Foreign Settlement.


The building was built in 1935 as Yokohama Shokin Bank Kobe Branch.
It is now known as a precious building that is registered as a national registered tangible cultural property.


Many famous important cultural properties, including the national treasure gSakuragaoka-cho excavated Dotaku and Bronze dagger axeh, are held and displayed.



-Get off at JR Sannomiya Station, Hankyu Line Kobe Sannomiya Station, Port Liner / Subway (Seishin / Yamate Line) Sannomiya Station, Hanshin Line Kobe Sannomiya Station and walk about 10 minutes southwest.
-Get off at JR Motomachi Station, Hanshin Line Motomachi Station and walk about 10 minutes southeast.
