Introduction

Arima Onsen hot spring (Ln: Arima-Onsen) is one of Japan's three Ancient Springs and one of Japan's three most famous hot springs.
The Hot spring district is located on the north side of the Rokko Mountains, about an hour's drive from Osaka and about 30 minutes from Kobe Sannomiya.

 

Toyotomi Hideyoshi likes Arima Onsen hot spring and has visited with his wife Nene many times.
During the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, part of the bathroom created by Toyotomi Hideyoshi was excavated.

 

Public external hot spring baths are "Kin-no-yu (Gold hot spring)" and "Gin-no-yu (Silver hot spring)".
The Kin-no-yu hot spring is called brown-colored Kin-sen (golden hot spring), and the Gin-no-yu hot spring is called colorless and transparent Gin-sen (silver hot spring).

It is also famous for building Osaka Castle.

Carbonated spring source park

28kobe-arima-onsenAs you go up Tansan slope in Spa town, you will find the carbonated spring source park.
The park has a covered building and there is a well in the building.
A simple carbon dioxide spring is emerging from this well.
The temperature of the hot spring is as low as 18.6 deg C.
Arima Onsen hot spring souvenir "carbonated rice cake" uses this carbonated spring.

 

Kin-no-yu(Gold hot spring)

The gold hot spring is a strong salt spring, so the iron content is oxidized and muddy reddish brown.
Inside the facility there are a bathroom with a bamboo image and a bathroom with a maple image.
Outside the bath, there is a footbath, which can be used free of charge, and facilities for drinking hot spring water.
efficacy: neuralgia, myalgia, arthralgia, recovery from fatigue, etc.

 

Gin-no-yu(Silver hot spring)

Silver hot spring is a blend of hot spring and radium spring of carbonated spring source.
There are a bathtub, Steam-type sauna and Waterfall shower (Utase-yu) in the facility.

Taiko-no-yu

28kobe-arima-onsen-taiko-no-yuTaiko-no-yu is the only spa theme park in Arima Spa town.
Visitors can enter Gold hot spring, Silver hot spring and Carbonated spring.
You can also enjoy Bedrock bath, Steam bath and Cold air bath.
The hotel also has a restaurant, food court and coffee shop.
As Taiko-no-yu is a part of Arima Kirari (formerly Arima View Hotel Urara), guests can also stay.

28kobe-arima-onsen-yudonokanIt is excavation data library when Yunoyama palace of Toyotomi Hideyoshi was discovered.
Under the "priest's quarter" of Gokuraku-ji broken in the Great Hanshin Awaji Earthquake, bath tubs and Garden's relics, which are estimated to be part of the Yunoyama palace built 400 years ago, were discovered.
On site, Steam bath, Rock bath and Garden relic are on display.

-Take the Kobe Municipal Subway at "Sannomiya Station" and change to "Kobe Dentetsu" at "Tanigami Station".

-Take the Arima Express Kyoto (high-speed bus) at "JR Kyoto-eki Karasuma guchi" bus stop and get off at "Arima Onsen" bus stop.
-Take the Hankyu Bus / Keihan Bus at "Kyoto-eki Hachijo guchi" bus stop and get off at "Arima Onsen" bus stop.
From Kobe Airport
-Take the Shinki bus at "Kobe Airport (Kobe-kuko)" bus stop and get off at "Arima Onsen" bus stop.

-Take the Rokko Cable at "Shita Station" and get off at "Sanjo Station".
?Take Rokko sancho junkan bus at Rokko Cable Sanjo Station and get off at Ropeway Sancho Station.
